Call For Applications
The Ministry of Inner-City and Zongo Development (MICZD) in collaboration with the National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI) is calling on entrepreneurs within the food services sector to apply to participate in training and other Business Support activities geared towards developing their capacity and providing a platform for market linkages. The Zongo Cuisine Promotion Programme forms part of broader Zongo Economic Empowerment Agenda being spearheaded by the Ministry to develop and grow Zongo based businesses including the food sector. This call is for the 1st phase of the project which commences in the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area this first quarter, 2019.
The main objective of the project is to provide advance level Entrepreneurship and Management training, Productivity Improvement as well as technical training for vendors of Zongo Cuisines for improved market access, leading to increased job creation and household incomes.
WHO CAN APPLY
- This call is limited to vendors of Zongo cuisines.
- Food vendors residents in Zongo communities within the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (GAMA). These includes the following areas; Aladjo, Tunga, Mallam, Sabon Zongo, Mabrok, Shukura, Zongo Lane, Zamrama Line, Darkuma, Fadama, Old Fadama, Fadikafuta, Abosey Kai, Ashaiman, Tudu, Nima, Maamobi, Madina, Town Council Line (Laterbiokorshie), Accra Newtown (Lagos Town), Cowlane, Adabraka, Freetown, Weija, Gbawe, Akweteman Zongo, Tema Zongo.
